One note on the US travel spike - they cleverly had the World Cup during their 250th anniversary celebrations - I would think that the spike in traffic might be a one-off effect, not a lasting trend as people usually plan their big trips around these things and plough a lot of money into going. Might be we see a downturn next year in that stat.
